1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the website and the booking of sailing experiences offered by OnadaSail.
By accessing this website or booking an experience, users agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Services Provided

OnadaSail offers sailing experiences, including shared and private sailing activities departing from Barcelona and surrounding areas.
Details of each experience are provided on the relevant pages of the website.

The specific details of each experience are described on the corresponding pages of the website.

3. Booking and Confirmation

Bookings are made through the website or via direct contact. A booking is considered confirmed only when:

full payment has been successfully completed
a confirmation has been sent to the customer

OnadaSail reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking if necessary.

4. Prices and Payments

All prices are displayed in Euros (€).
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
OnadaSail does not store payment card details.

5. Minimum Participants (Shared Experiences)

Shared experiences require a minimum number of participants to operate. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the experience may be:

rescheduled
converted into an alternative option
cancelled with a full refund

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation conditions are defined in the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Customers may cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before the experience unless otherwise specified.

7. Weather Conditions

Sailing experiences depend on weather and sea conditions.

OnadaSail reserves the right to:

modify routes
adapt the experience
reschedule
cancel the experience

if conditions are deemed unsafe or unsuitable. The final decision is always made by the skipper.

8. Arrival and Departure

Participants must arrive at the meeting point 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
OnadaSail will wait a maximum of 10 minutes after the scheduled departure time.
Late arrivals may result in loss of the booking without refund.

9. Participant Responsibilities

Participants must:

follow all safety instructions provided by the skipper
behave respectfully towards crew and other guests
respect the boat and equipment

OnadaSail reserves the right to deny boarding or terminate the experience without refund if a participant’s behavior compromises safety or comfort.

10. Alcohol Policy

Alcohol consumption is permitted in moderation. The skipper has full authority to limit or prohibit alcohol consumption if deemed necessary for safety reasons.

11. Health and Fitness

Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to take part in a sailing experience.
Any relevant medical conditions should be communicated in advance.
Children must be supervised by an adult.

12. Liability

Sailing activities involve inherent risks. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OnadaSail shall not be held liable for:

personal injury resulting from failure to follow safety instructions
loss or damage of personal belongings
delays or changes due to weather or operational conditions

Participants may be held responsible for damages caused by negligence or improper behavior.

13. Skipper Authority

The skipper has full authority on board at all times. All decisions regarding safety, navigation, conduct, and alcohol consumption are final and must be respected by all participants.
